Let’s Talk DRY SHAMPOO

Dry shampoo is a hair care product containing either starched based or alcohol based sprays that eliminate oils, dirt, and grease on the hair & scalp. The BIG PERK is that as a powder spray it needs no water to work. We call that Practical Magic and who doesn’t love that?

But just like anything else, there are other factors to consider….Like Curly Heads, texture is an issue… If you sprinkle powder on the bristles of a broom you get a dry looking broom, not nessesarily a clean broom. So, course textured or curly heads may have an all together different result, creating a dry look & an itchy scalp. Fine to Medium textures may do better and can actually thrive because for them dry shampoo adds volume and texture (which is what they need).

The misnomer of dry shampoo is that you wait to spray it on your hair After the oil shows up…The truth is you spray on freshly washed hair to help Prevent the oil from rearing its ugly head on your head! When oil starts glistening ~Zap it again with a few more shots of the magical stuff!
